“We’re constantly looking for deeper connections”
I’m speaking on behalf of a lot of introverted personalities. I feel like society builds upon mostly extroverted and were very much misunderstood. A lot of the times we’re reserved and quiet to ourselves and people take it as us being rude or not wanting to communicate with other people. It’s actually quite the opposite, we’re constantly looking for deeper connections, just trying to find a place in work and society where we can use that as a strength and not a weakness.
I have a teddy bear that a friend of mine gave me in high school and it is sentimental so I held onto it. It is at my parents house. He named it after me. It was a best friend of mine in high school. In high school you don’t feel friendships are…you never realize that they go that deep and people really think about you once they go home or what not, so the fact that someone had gone out of their way to get this bear, it was like a Build A Bear so he tailored it to my personality or what not. It was a sweet gesture, especially coming from a guy. You usually don’t expect that from a guy.
