I am too kind. I have been through the struggles of friendship. I think that they are genuine. Then I get burned.
Nice guys in this world now a days do finish last. Now that I see who they are I move differently. I walk as if there are landmines. I don’t move the way I used to when I was younger. More wisdom now, I really test the waters.
The old folks used to say “watch out for friends” but when you experience it for yourself it’s a different thing, you learn a lot.
Experience is a teacher. I just look out for me and those that really care for me, those I do not have to impress.
