“ And it has given me a lot of courage and hope to go out into the public”

I’m part of the LGBT community. I’m transgender and automatically that’s going to make people feel uncomfortable considering what lifestyle we live now. The whole idea that we are fake or that we are just going through phases, considering what Christians over here like to say and politicians and all that.

So all my life I have been rejected for those type of things but as I grew older instead of rejecting who I am I started to embrace it. And it has given me a lot of courage and hope to go out into the public and doing exactly what I love doing, such as dressing up or letting it be known, like hey this is who I am. And I am happy this way. It’s been a good starter for me. I’m still learning of course but I feel overtime I’ll finally get full courage and hope to continue. And hopefully inspire other people as well.

I do have a little plush of one of my favorite video game characters. I’ve had him for a long, long time. I’m kind of too old to be hugging dolls and stuff but when I get really, really, really lonely and upset I still go to him because he’s that little comfort. His name is Mark he’s from the Fire Emblem series.
