It’s giving me hope to go on than just being alone and just staying in that dark place

I was always left out in middle school. No one ever wanted to be around me. I don’t know why, I was always friendly, I was always nice. No one liked me. And in high school people started coming around me but I was still left out. I got into cosplay after that and then everyone around me started gravitating towards me because of the characters. I got more more into cosplay making my own costumes. It was fun, it was amazing. Now I have a family. After being so alone, having the rush of people it is nice.

My character is Shiemi Moriyama. She is a loving, gentle, caring person. In the anime she’s associated with gardens, nature. I see myself in her. I’m loving, I’m care, I’m gentle and I wanted to show people that.

I have a plush Charmander since I was a baby and I still have him. He’s always on my bed with me. And I have a little plush shark that I had in kindergarten. I took it to kindergarten every day. Their names are Sharkey and Charchar 

They made me feel like I was not completely alone.
