“I can be who I want to be”

My own family doesn’t even get me you know. They make fun of me. And then just this morning I got kicked off the bus almost. I had a wig on and an eye patch and the lady said that she wasn’t even going to let me on the bus because I looked like that. That really hurt my feelings and it just sucks when people look at you a certain way that make you feel uncomfortable so that’s why I usually stay in my room and do what I want to do. I dress up and be who I can be instead of going out and doing it. No one in the world understands what we go through. This is our world right here. This is what we do so it’s fun to be around people who get you.

I recently found this kind of crowd, maybe a few years ago and it really helps me because I have a history of cutting myself and all that. So being able to be into something that is me it makes me feel happy. I can be who I want to be.

I have a little stuffed puppy dog and I used to take him everywhere. My mom brought him for me. He’s still sitting on my bed to this day. His name is Sparkles. He makes me feel happy like I have a best friend. I’m not allowed to have any pets and I rarely get to have anyone over so to have a best friend just be with me day and night feels amazing.
