I compensated. Celebrate difference and diversity.

“I compensated”

I was born with Dandy-Walker Syndrome. It’s when you’re born missing part of your cerebellum. Usually people born with that end up having physical issues, coordination issues sometimes they have to have shunts but luckily for me I was able to overcome this as a child. I compensated. Most people would not get very far in life, unfortunately. I am about to graduate with my masters at the end of the year.

I got a stuffed bear for my 7th birthday and I still have it. It keeps me safe in away. I’m one of these people that gets attached to my stuffed animals.

I am doing a Gothic Lolita version of Harley Quinn. Holly Quinn is very popular now and I don’t like doing what everyone else does. I like to be different. This is my own version of Holly Quinn. I’m really into Japanese culture. The Gothic Lolita is kind of a subculture in Japan. Fits me in a way. It’s cutesy, sort of dark.
