“I listen to my inner conscience, that is such a peaceful way to live”
I did not fit in with my own family and by society. I just wanted to prove to everybody who didn’t think that I couldn’t do it that I could, and that I didn’t need anybody else. I didn’t need anybody’s approval and I could make beautiful things that were a little bit different and be embraced because of their difference.
I never was traditional and my whole life I have been struggling between what I feel like I should do, should be, who I actually am, who I want to be.
I think it’s really cool to be different and that’s what I like about myself. I don’t look like everyone else. I do what I want and I listen to my inner conscience, that is such a peaceful way to live.
I have a stuffed animal that hangs out at my parents house. It’s name is Fluffy and I have had him since I was six years old. He’s white and is a little stuffed dog. He used to be full of stuffing now the only part of his body that is full of stuffing is his butt because I would sleep holding my arm around him every night.
I still do that when I go back and stay with my parents in the Bay Area.
