I want to make all the trouble, and the blood, sweat and tears worth it

I want to make all the trouble, and the blood, sweat and tears worth it. The beauty is the fact that everyone has struggled and everyone has the capacity to survive.
“I want to make all the trouble, and the blood, sweat and tears worth it”

I am in the entertainment industry and have been for about 10 years now. Basically my whole life up to a recent point was a lot of rejection, granted there were ups and downs. There were times when things went well, but for the most part it took a lot of perseverance. I come from a small town, not that San Diego is small.  I feel everyone comes to LA with the notion that everything is going to be so easy and someone is just going to discover you and you will be a star.

But for those of us who have been here long know that is not the case. It was definitely a wake up call. It’s kind of a lonely city. There aren’t very many people who want to stay friends. It’s not like the group of friends you had back home.

The whole journey has been an inspiration. I just want to do well and make my parents proud and to make myself proud. I want to make all the trouble and the blood, sweat and tears worth it.

I’m driven to do it and to keep going since I’ve come this far. I might as well finish it off.

When I was little I had a stuffed bunny that I would take everywhere. It was like a movie where the kid doesn’t want to let go of their stuffed animal. I took it everywhere. It was dirty and falling apart and the eyes had fallen out. There was cotton coming out from all sides.  It was my favorite. One day it disappeared. I’m pretty sure, have a sneaky suspicion, that my parents just threw it out. It was getting really ugly and old.
