“It changed my life, it changed me as a human being.”
I have multiple sclerosis and it happened in 1992 and it changed me quite a bit. It made me a lot more compassionate. People say why me, why did this happen to me but I say why not me. I think I was able to rise above that because I didn’t know if I would be able to walk again, have sight again, do any of the things that I normally did. But it all turned around. I am very happy. It changed my life, it changed me as a human being.
I have many stuffed animals. I have collected them all my life. I like the ones that are very soft and that they are very loving. Each time I see one it’s kind of like someone is giving me a hug.
When I was little I got a doll from this store that some French people owned who lived in Connecticut. She was absolutely gorgeous, with a hat, a beautiful dress. Oh gosh, I just loved that doll. I didn’t name her but I loved that little doll.
