“It opened me up”
I love to dance and model so that is what I do now but back then when I was younger I was a little afraid to do so because I was shy and I had low self-esteem because I didn’t think I was that pretty. And then my complexion, I struggled with that as well. But now I’ve grown to love my complexion and with me being a model, it’s really different in the modeling world to have a nice tone of brown to your skin. Also with my dancing I’m actually a dance choreographer for my modeling team, Models MB it’s in Washington DC and we’re really hot and popular now. So I’m known for my team and I was able to dance with the Washington Wizards basketball team when I was younger so that boosted my self-esteem. It was called the Junior Wizard Dancers. Ever since then I’ve been going. It opened me up.
I have a Build-A-Bear. She’s in my closet. I got her when I was 12 or 13. It has a little speaker so you can record your voice in there or you can make them say something. I made her say I love you, I love you. So every time you push it it says I love you, I love you. I have a lot of stuffed animals even on my bed. You never know what a stuffed animal could do for you. It comforts me and I push that button every so now and then, if I look in my closet and make sure it works again and it says I love you, it puts a smile to my face.
