“I’ve done a lot of things on my own.”
I’m Hispanic I was born here. My mom passed away early so I have all these thing against me kind of like saying I wasn’t going to succeed. But that made me work harder for what I have. I was told I wasn’t going to do it, wasn’t going to succeed. This made me want to succeed a little bit more. My family and friends told me this and people generally out there said this. They thought I was going to have a baby when I was young. They told me I wasn’t going to graduate high school or do much, that I was just going to go down the drain. But it didn’t go that way. I’ve done a lot of things on my own. Not being born here and not getting a good job, kind of puts a block on it, and it hasn’t. I found a good job. I’ve done well for myself.
I have a lot of stuffed animal. I’ve been with my boyfriend for eight year and every stuffed animal I have he’s been giving it to me. I have a really big one that I sleep with all the time and he’s really, really cuddly. He’s comfortable. I use to talk to it when I feel lonely. I felt like he was there.
