“As long as you believe in yourself, anything is possible”
When I was 15 I got pregnant with my son. I had no high school credits. I was supposed to be a sophomore. As soon as I found out I was pregnant the guy, my son’s biological father left me, so it was just me basically. My family abandoned me. They didn’t agree with it. But you know what? I’m here today. My son is 16 now. I graduated 6 months early. I made 4 years in 2 1/2 years and I graduated with my son in my arms.
I went to college, got my degree and I actually work with troubled kids now. It doesn’t matter if you have support, as long as you believe in yourself, anything is possible. You can do anything that you set your mind to. It all has to come from within. It has to be your drive. It has to be what you truly want out of life. Then you can accomplish anything.
I’ve had numerous stuffed animals that were important to me. My favorite and I only got rid of it because it got mold on it because my apartment flooded. I had it since I was 2 or 3 and it use to vibrate. It was called bouncy. I also have my Little Pony that I’ve had since I was 3. My parents took me to Colorado and that’s how they told us kids that they were getting a divorce. I’ve had it since then. It brings security to me. It brings back my childhood. It always has that little piece of my youth in it.
