“I love dreaming about concepts bigger than myself”
When I was in high school I kind of always felt different. I didn’t do things that other kids did . They were very much into the whole high school lifestyle. I was a little more of a dreamer. I lost myself in fantasy books and sci-fi, Buffy, Xena . All these things. No one understood this about me.
It was really cool because when I went to high school, it was about the time that the internet came about. I didn’t have any friends that were into the same stuff as I was. The internet was so great because it allowed me to find my people in an online community. So I found some amazing Xena and Hercules chat rooms and got kind of involved with the community online. It made me feel like there were other people out there that were like me too.
I’m an actor and producer and I produce a lot of geek and genre centric content. I love dreaming about concepts bigger than myself. So I went to LA from Colorado to become an actor. I played Wonder Woman on an online short that everyone went crazy about a couple of years ago
I’ve had my stuffed animals since I was 17 . I call her Cheer Bear. So whenever I feel really bad or terrible or depressed or whatever I always take her out and I cuddle with her and it makes me feel so much better. Cheer Bear cheers you up.
