I love Japanese culture so it was an opening to a new passion

I’m a Caucasian American from a small town in Ohio but I’m married to a Japanese man. That has been a challenge dealing with people and how they view us as a couple. It has really helped me grow as a person and have a different perspective on life. I was a bit of a book nerd and very shy, not a lot of friends. I love Japanese culture so it was an opening to a new passion.

I have a penguin his name is Skimper. And the funny thing is that my husband also has a penguin from when he was little so now they live together. Skimper comforts me.
