“Now I am a very open person”
I was born in Belize which is out of the country. I came here when I was eight years old and I had a really thick accent so I always felt out of place.
For about two years I didn’t talk, when I was in elementary school. In middle school I had a lot of friends, American friends, and they opened me up by showing me how American life was like what I had back home. It helped me to have fun and to speak more and to go out. I used to be more confined. Then my English started getting better. Now I am a very open person. I like to talk a lot now.
I really like stuffed animals. I have a lot of home. I have the pillow pets. I guess it’s a girly thing about me. My boyfriend got me a teddy bear at Six Flags and it has a Batman Jersey. The crazy part about it was that he didn’t know that I loved Batman. That is my favorite superhero.
I sleep and cuddle with it at night when he’s not home.
