I realized I needed to get more of a foundation because of that.

I realized I needed to get more of a foundation because of that. She is holding Wilson the bear named after Brian aWilson of the Beach Boys, made by Nina R Salerno.

“I realized I needed to get more of a foundation because of that.”

I was shunned by my family. I was kind of the back sheep. It got to the point where every time they had trouble they would pin it on me. I couldn’t handle that type of abuse anymore so I decided to run away from home. I went to a shelter, because honestly, I didn’t know where to go. From then on out, that specific shelter that I was in was around Hollywood it was for youth. I spent almost a half a year there and I got to meet a lot of people, different people, that were also outsiders that had to be away from home for a lot of different reasons, a lot more darker reasons.

Because of those people and their stories I got to grow up a lot more than I would have if I stayed at home.

It inspired me to work a lot harder. Without knowing these kind of people I wouldn’t have known that if I didn’t have a direction in life I would have just been lost. I would have been just like some of the ones that were over there that didn’t have a plan. I realized I needed to get more of a foundation because of that.

During those years of being homeless I actually got to meet people from the cosplay community, like the shelter they all have their stories. They all have their walks of life. They all have one reason of why they come together in costume. It’s either a way of escape or a way to show people who they really are. Yes they have to put on a mask or makeup but at the end of the day they feel great. They express themselves. It makes them happy. As of this year, I cosplay Lady WiFi from Miraculous Ladybug. She’s basically the type of person that turned into a villain because she was shunned out. She was told that her truth was not the truth. And she got angry that people were trying to justify one person wanting to punish her even though she did nothing wrong. When you don’t have the truth spoken out or you have somebody hide the truth away from you you just want to do something about it. That’s why I chose her.

I love Pusheen and I have a donut one. And I’ve grown to become attach to it. It gives me comfort especially when I work long hours. I just want to go home and I just want to sleep . As long as I hug Pusheen and have that comfort, I feel a lot better.
