“It has shown me through my parents that color doesn’t matter”
I am a black person that has been adopted by a white family. And I’m kind of ostracized from the rest of the family, the extended family. I guess they don’t like my parents and they don’t like me.
I’ve gone around most of my life being the only black person in a room. It gets weird sometimes but I can deal with it. It has shown me, through my parents, that color doesn’t matter. They have proved that to me.
My parents have treated me no differently than their own kids. My extended family basically ignore me
I have several stuffed animals in my life. My main one is a stuffed bear named Timothy that I got when I was younger from one of my older sister. She gave it to me on my birthday. I love that thing to death. It reminds me at one point that my sister did actually like me. He just makes me feel safe. I love the bear and it is someone to cuddle with.
