I would teach my children to be accepting and tolerant of everyone that is different

I lived with my grandfather and he was half white and half Japanese so with me being so dark when he would pick me up from school the kids would make fun of me. It actually made me want to be better than the kids that teased me. So I feel that I am better than them. I have a great heart and I would teach my children to be accepting and tolerant of everyone that is different from you.

I have a stuffed monkey and his name is George. George has carried my tears throughout the years. I’ve had him for about 10 years and he in someway has been like a guardian angel to me.
