“Traveling changed my life and my mindset”
When I was about 17, I became homeless and instead of going to foster care or living with my friends I ran away to the beach and I discovered squatting, like, sleeping in houses that are abandoned or for rent or about to be for rent. Basically squatting in Venice led me to traveling and traveling changed my life and my mindset. I got to see a lot of the West Coast, Oregon and California. Now I have that lust to wonder. Kind of something strange about me, little, is that I have a squatter symbol on my hand and a few tattoos that signify meanings in my life, moments in my life. The LA tattoo means from where I’m from even though I don’t like to live here. The anarchy tattoo means I do whatever the fuck I want and I want to do it in a peaceful way.
When I was little I had a raccoon from POCAHONTAS. I would sing to it, “can you sing with all the colors of the mountain”.
