I welcomed reality. And I’m here today.

“I welcomed reality. And I’m here today.”

I was adopted into a born again Christian family. And at some point I realized that that wasn’t right but I didn’t know better. I was brainwashed until I went to college. Then it all came crashing in, reality that is. I welcomed reality. And I’m here today.

I still believe in spirituality but I think that interpretation is open to each individual in how you want to pursue that and find that peace for yourself, that drive, that direction. That inward, and outward, we’re connected. I sort of started to realize how easy it was to manipulate people and I did get into music, not to manipulate people, but understanding on some level that that was the way we choose to connect is by putting someone on stage and idolizing them and I wanted to be that on some level. That helped me get through some of these questions. I don’t even know what they were; issues that I didn’t even know that were issues until I was dealing with them. When I am in the audience I’m back at church and I get a little weird feeling about it. But I love music.

When I was little I had a rabbit I really loved. I did name it but I can’t remember it. It had purple ears so I probably called it Purple or something. It could just do anything and I wanted to do anything.
