“My world is an oyster, a new canvas”

I’m new to LA. I’m just kind of experiencing LA by myself. I don’t have any family or friends here. It’s been a year but I have been surpassing a lot of different challenges. Finding a job and being consistent on that. I’m also an actor so Im just following my dreams and not stopping. I’ve been doing a lot of local work, you know, print work, web series. I think the fact that I am alone in a way helps me motivate myself. And reaching out to my family and my friends back home, they are always supporting me. I can see where I was and where I am now. I’m pushing really hard and not stopping.

I was in a relationship for a long time and that relationship kind of helped me, in San Diego. Being in that relationship I knew I wouldn’t be in LA just cause we had so many commitments in San Diego. After that ended, unfortunately, I just decided to pack everything up and head on to LA. There’s nothing else I can do than follow my dreams. Something fell apart and you just have to find happiness in something else. It gave me a little bit of clarity, my world is an oyster, a new canvas. Just deciding to come to LA was very ballsy, if you will. I wouldn’t take anything back. I’m happy here. I’m having a good time.

I do collect some stuffed animals. When I was a kid I had this stuffed teddy bear. His name was Christopher. I got it from Santa. I sent him a card, to Santa Claus. I was a little kid so I got a package back. I think it was some hospital that did, a foundation thing. I got a package and it was my gift. It was a teddy bear and his name is Christopher. I just hung out with him for a long time. That kind of made me believe that everything is possible. You just have to believe. Christopher just changed my attitude. For a while I believed in Santa Claus and I was so stern. My mom was sick. I asked him to make my mom better. Santa Claus wrote back in a card and said I’m praying for your mom. I feel if you just give positive energy out to people, even though sometimes you can’t provide much, that seeps into that person. That just changes their personality and changes their outlook in things.
