“You end up being that person that you wanted to be”
Throughout entire middle school I was kind of the oddball, always different. I never really fit in. People really didn’t tend to embrace me as much as I would have liked and how I saw other children being embraced.
I realized by the time I was in high school I was different and sometimes difference isn’t always a bad thing; it is a good thing. It empowers you to help others that may be similar and in the same situation. You can become the bigger person and you can also embrace others that may be perceived as different and in the end, you end up being that person that you wanted to be.
I currently do have a stuffed animal, it is a monkey and I have had him since I was about 13. His name has changed over the years. As I’ve gotten older I’ve wanted to give him more mature names. Right now his name is Brian.
Currently I am single and I literally cuddle up with Brian. It gives me something to hold at night. He reminds me of where I come from and I can always take that little bit of me where ever I go.
