“You get these trials in your life”
When I was in high school I was a serious soccer player and I tore my ACL multiple times. It’s the story of being rejected by my own body. I loved playing soccer, I actually wanted to do that to go to college, to get a scholarship. My own body, my coaches, everyone telling me that I couldn’t do anything about it .
I wasn’t going to let my body stop me from doing what I loved to do. It just meant that soccer wasn’t the thing that I was suppose to be doing with my life. It was meant for other things. It was a total lesson in learning I might have these ugly scars and I might be disabled for a little while but it doesn’t have any definition of what I can and cannot do as a person.
You get these trials in your life, they come to you for a certain reason they are meant to steer you in a different path. I actually ended up going to art school and it is one of my strong passions.
When I was little I loved my blankets. It was my safety blanket, It made me feel very secure I took her to school one day and the teacher told me I couldn’t keep it.
